As you type or paste text into the input field, our client-side JavaScript engine scans the content and instantly calculates words, characters, characters excluding spaces, sentences, and paragraphs in real time.
How is the Reading Time estimated?
Reading time is calculated using a standard average adult reading speed of 200 words per minute (WPM). If your text contains 400 words, the reading speed is estimated at 2 minutes.
What is the Speaking Time estimation based on?
Speaking time is estimated based on an average conversational speech rate of 130 words per minute (WPM). This is useful for planning presentations, speeches, and video scripts.
What is the keyword density analyzer and why is it useful?
It parses your text to count word frequencies, listing the top 10 most recurring terms. This helps copywriters and SEO specialists optimize keyword distributions and prevent keyword stuffing.
Why are some common words like 'the' and 'and' ignored in density analysis?
Our analyzer filters out standard 'stop words' (pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions) so that the density ranking reflects the actual thematic keywords rather than grammar particles.
How does the tool define sentence and paragraph boundaries?
Sentences are identified using terminal punctuation marks (periods, question marks, exclamation marks). Paragraphs are counted based on double or single line break boundaries.
Are character counts accurate when my text contains emojis?
JavaScript calculates string lengths using UTF-16 code units. Because complex graphic emojis can occupy multiple code units, the counts might be slightly higher than standard layout letters.
Can I count character lengths excluding spaces?
Yes, we display both total characters (including spaces) and characters excluding spaces (letters, numbers, and grammar symbols only).
Is my text saved or sent to any server when I use this analyzer?
